Warren Chia

Partner

Warren is a Partner at Romulus Capital. Prior to joining Romulus in 2019, he founded WELD Advisory, a consultancy providing finance expertise to high-growth, venture-backed companies, and served as acting CFO for dozens of startups in the software, e-commerce and technology sectors. He brings firsthand experience in strategic finance and operations, gained over a decade of focus and leadership in the areas of financial planning and analysis, capital allocation, equity and debt financings and accounting oversight.

Warren has a background in private equity, including as an investor at Leonard Green & Partners and Thomas H. Lee Partners. He has executed investments across a broad range of deal structures and asset classes including venture capital, public equities, credit investments and leveraged buyouts. He started his career in the Mergers & Acquisitions division of UBS Investment Bank.

Warren holds a B.S. in Management Science from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
